Been a while since I posted, it’s been crazy at work, blah blah blah.
Just got done watching the innaugural address. Honestly, I am experiencing some high anxiety about the way the economy is going. American excess really scares me. I’m not saying that I’m just worried about the state of America, I really am really anxious. I can’t sleep sometimes because of it. That said, although I am not buying into the Obama World Tour celebrity-ness of his fledgling presidency, I am hopeful.
In my quest to visit every bar in Waukesha before I expire, I add two new locations to my list this past week.
The Eagles Club was quaint. Plenty of flat screens to watch the game, free popcorn, dirt cheap prices. You’ll have to watch out for all the walkers and canes crowded around the bar, for the clientele is old as dirt. Since The Eagles are a fraternal order, they also do quite a bit of charity work. After many cocktails, I think me and my buddies joined, but I can’t remember for sure.
MC’s is located across the street from the Eagles Club. One word: scary. I can say for sure I won’t be back there. However, the bartender, Lindsay, was very nice (her dad owns the place), and she insisted they had great food.
